However, he was largely hands off because he wanted to see what someone else would do with the series and not stifle their creativity.

The first game front-loads its difficulty, peaking with Ornstein & Smough at approximately the halfway point, and from there it's all downhill- none of the bosses in its latter half are anywhere near as challenging, at least once you figure out their tricks.

Will there be a Sekiro 2 : It is very very unlikely that there will be a sequel to Sekiro. Miyazaki, the guy who came up with the concept of Sekiro and then in charge of the whole thing, is not into sequel anymore after finishing the Dark Soul series.

to me dark souls is harder than this game! There are big differences between both games. Boils down how levels were designed back in Dark Souls/Demon Souls. When you arrive to Firelink Shrine, you can go to Undead Burg, Catacombs or New Londo.
