Is Outlast 3 only multiplayer
The Outlast Trials is a survival horror game played from a first-person perspective. While the game supports four-player cooperative multiplayer, players can complete the game solo. The player must complete a set of tasks while evading monstrous enemies.
Why Outlast is so scary : The original Outlast has the most terrifying enemies, featuring bone shears, cannibals, and deranged cult members that will keep you on edge. Outlast: Whistleblower and The Outlast Trials tie for goriest, with graphic scenes including dismemberment and weaponized power drills.
If there is a singleplayer mode, it should be totally offline for players. At the end, Outlast was born as a singleplayer game WITHOUT internet connection.
Anyone who says this game is acceptable for anyone below 18 is trolling you – be warned. Outlast 2 is relentlessly dark, gory and violent, with constant, extremely graphic sex references throughout. There are also constant references to murder and sacrificing children. At one point you fall into a pit of dead children.

All a can say, to make all of this short is: Outlast 2 is much more extreme than the first one, you will love it, but at the expense of you sanity (of course, that is an exaggeration), but if you don't mind a bit of masochism; than play it… You had been warned.Updated:

Its a horror game and has quite a few good jumpscares, if you hate horror I probably would not bother, but if you want something scary then yeah this is it. The game thrusts you into a lot of scenarios you have to figure out on your own and having to avoid enemies at the same time.

Is it OK to let my 7 year old cry : Allowing children to express their sorrow in a safe environment teaches them that their natural reaction (crying) is healthy and acceptable. Being there to offer support, but not fix it for them, teaches them that they can handle upsets and disappointments on their own, and empowers them for the future.
